To call this route mountainous is a bit of a stretch, but it is in the hills with some interesting climbs and descents. Trafic was light (a mid-september Friday morning around 0915 when we started the ride), weather was gorgeous. You get some very pretty scenery when the trees let you have a peek. This ride has is a very nice balance between long fast sweepers and tighter corners, with some longer stretches to pick up a bit of speed. Make sure to follow the speed limits in the villages. Have fun the rest of the way.
