This road is a good combination of climbs and valleys snaking north and a great alternative to the motorway if heading north towards Madrid. It's a fast road with sweeping bends and long straights for overtaking. Very little traffic. It runs through the national park in the south with green scenery, olive groves and some mid-height mountains.
