A nice road but, I wouldnt call it a fast road. Lots of first and second gear hairpin turns as you wind your way up the mountains with some nice views of the Ligurian Sea. As you approach Bedonia, it does open up a bit.
Bedonia to Santa Maria Del taro to Mezzanego (Passo del Bocco) is interesting fast and good fun, if later on a little bumpy. Mezzanego to Lavagna is just a nice bit of road and Lavagna is a nice town. The coast road from Lavagna back to Sestri Levante is the usual busy Riviera coast road.
