One of Norway's most spectacular routes. The route is typically open from early May to October/November, otherwise winter closed. Riding it early in the season, one can have several meters high snow banks and close to dry road. Be aware of icing tendencies/slippery conditions at this time of the year. Also worthwhile to do a detour via Lysebotn with its spectacular view from "Eagles nest" (cafe) with numerous slow corners down to Lyseboth. During summertime, be aware of slow traffic, but visibility is mostly good for this route so normally not a problem. Highly recommended for any type of bike. Road surface OK, but can be a bit worn due to winter (frost heave). More information of this route can be found at: http://www.suleskarvegen.no
