Another great Sussex road. With the A272, A285 and A286 the A29 adds another fantastic route. Scary fast in places, you know you could go faster if you could get those images of dancing pheasants in the road out of your head! Unsure of police presence but many bikers meet at Hikers cafe on this route so no doubt there is police presence. Beware when approaching Hikers from the East as the roundabout comes up on you quickly and can catch you out.
Chichester to Box Hill Cont. Lots of long straights that you can do at a reasonable speed with a few roundabouts, some nice wiggly fast turns and a couple of really nice tight bends in it. Please note the 2 bends I'm talking about are almost blind, but well sign posted. The road does also go up hill and down dale. It can get quite bunged up, but you shouldn't have too much trouble blowing it all in to the weeds.
