Great road.
Great stretch of road mostly good ( well bedded chippings ) with occasional loose gravel patches on bends. There are some fairly tight switchback turns in a short up and down section and a couple of smooth tarmac sweepers ( not high speed but very satisfying to accelerate through as the vision opens up ). There are a couple of short 30 ( please respect them ) sections which let you rest your concentration before you negotiate the next series of bends and short straights. The road is used by Horse Riders so ride it with consideration and race exhausts do little to foster relations with the community. Where the road splits at the 2146 / 2147 fork take the latter ( on your right if heading south ) its short but has a lovely section at the end. Where the original posted route bears left onto the 2141 from the 2146 - stick with the 2146 and just follow it all the way until it comes to a T junction.
Top route
This is my favourite section of road in the area. Once you leave South Harting and bear left onto the B2141 the up corners there are out of this world. If you're into knee down action then this will be your new heaven. The only down fall is that there is only a circa 6 perfect corners on the up hill bit, however the rest of the road is fast long sweepers. Truly worth a visit plus you can stop at Goodwood for a burger when you've finished the road, as it's only a few miles away and normally has something worth watching going around the track.
Nice little run down to the outskirts of Chichester, well worth a look if you're in the area.
