So this year (2017), I am looking to for a new motorcycle travel experience.

A couple of years ago, I was chatting to a guy in Belgium who was a keen enduro rider and he mentioned to me about a route in France called 'La diagonale'. This route travels across France more or less from one corner to another and is almost all off road.

I am currently looking in to the location of the route and its various stages.

Most enduro riders seem to be using 250 or 400cc enduro machines but as I have a more or less fully prepared Suzuki DR800, I plan to use that and see how it goes.

More information to follow, and information about the route locations (any parts) are gladly accepted while I am doing my research.
