This year we will attend the biggest motorsport event in the world, the beach race at Le Touquet.

We will be staying nearby for a couple of days in a place called Camiers.

How is it to get there on the day of the race? I have not been before and I have seen online that there can be 200-500k spectators!

It seems that the organisers recommend parking at the airport which has provision for about 1000 cars. Normally I would take the motorcycle but I will take my wife and young son (I think he will enjoy the spectacle a lot) so I would ideally need either a parking recommendation or know about how to get there by public transport.

Any tips?

Yesterday we returned from the Le Touquet beach race enduropale.

What an amazing event! Masses of competitors and a great atmosphere.
