This is a great little evening circuit on quiet roads with good views of mid Wales and the Severn Valley. There is very easy access to it from junction 7 of the M54. It starts with a long straight run towards Atcham on the old A5 and then changes in character completely as you head back on a superb and quite challenging bendy road towards Buildwas. Stop at the top of the hill in Leighton for an excellent view of the loop in the River Severn. Finally, you get a good fast blast uphill on the Ironbridge bypass and then a small interesting section of very rural roads running alongside The Wrekin.
